Authors Guide — Book / Monograph
Cognix Press Publisher welcomes complete book manuscripts across all academic disciplines. Follow the guidelines below to meet our publishing standards.
1 Format & Style
A4 size paper
Times New Roman, 12pt
1.5 line spacing, single column
1-inch margins on all sides
Submit a single Word file (.doc or .docx) containing the entire book with the following structure:
Cover PageAcknowledgementPreface
Table of ContentsChaptersIndex
References / BibliographyAnnexures (if applicable)
2 Author Profile
A brief profile of each author (10–15 lines), submitted in a separate Word file.
A recent passport-size photograph of each author.
3 Language
Manuscripts are accepted in English (British or American). Scientific names must be italicized.
4 Plagiarism Policy
All manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening. Plagiarism must be below 20%. Manuscripts exceeding this limit will be returned to the author for revision.
5 Figures & Tables
Tables numbered consecutively (Table 1, Table 2 …) with a clear title placed above.
Figures numbered consecutively (Figure 1, Figure 2 …) with a descriptive caption placed below.
Minimum resolution 300 dpi. Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, JPEG, TIF.
All tables and figures must be cited in the text.
6 References
References should follow APA style (Author–Date format). For books with multiple chapters, include a consolidated reference list at the end.
Book Reference Example:
Robinson, J. R., & Lee, V. H. (1994). Controlled Drug Delivery: Fundamentals and Applications (2nd ed., Vol. 29, pp. 555–561). Lippincott Williams & Wilkins.
